Founded by Daryl Wheeler and Dylan Pukall, The Jewellery Photographers is a specialist studio devoted to the tradition and craft of fine jewellery imagery.
Our practice is rooted in respect — for material, for craftsmanship, and for the heritage behind every piece we photograph.

Daryl Wheeler
Co-founder of The Jewellery Photographers and a dedicated practitioner of fine jewellery photography. Daryl has been photographing jewellery since 2011.
With a foundation in Commercial and advertising photography, his work is guided by patience, technical rigour, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. He approaches each piece with the understanding that jewellery is more than adornment - it is legacy in physical form.
Daryl is recognised for his careful management of light and surface, preserving the authenticity of precious materials while allowing their natural character to emerge. His aesthetic is clean, balanced, and timeless, favouring refinement over trend.

Dylan Pukall
Co-founder of The Jewellery Photographers, Dylan brings creative direction and conceptual vision to the studio’s practice.
With a background in commercial photography and brand storytelling, his work is driven by instinct, imagination, and a constant curiosity for new visual possibilities. Where jewellery holds history, Dylan seeks to give it atmosphere — shaping imagery that feels intentional, elevated, and alive.
He is recognised for his ability to conceive refined concepts with ease, translating ideas into sophisticated compositions that extend beyond documentation since his early schooling years. His creative process is intuitive yet considered, allowing campaigns and collections to take on a distinct presence while maintaining the integrity of the piece itself.
Dylan thrives in the ideation phase — developing visual narratives, exploring lighting approaches, and crafting imagery that positions jewellery within a broader world of luxury and meaning.
